Dave and I went to a childcare informational class which told us the things that we need to do to watch other children as well as our own. HOLY MOLY!!! I never knew how much goes into being registered. Boy oh boy! The good news is that I only wanted to watch two children, and you do not have to be registered for that. The bad news is, if I cut my salary in half, I would have to charge much above the average wage. Without me being registered, we are not seeing as likely for the other parents.
So here we are. Let the stress begin. We will begin interviewing providers soon. This decision is causing much emotion. I do not trust anyone with our baby, and I feel awful for sending our child to another party. If we would like to remain in the home we have created, this is what has to get done. I love our home, I hope our child understands the sacrifice that we had to go through to assure that we still live a well life.
