We (well, I) heard the heartbeat!!!! Before we could see it, but now we heard it. I am so practical. Everyone talks about how amazing it was to hear the heartbeat, and when I heard it, I was thinking, "OK, there it is." I guess I just knew what to expect. I just want to feel our little one move or kick, then I think I will be convinced that everything is OK.
The heartbeat was 150 beats per minute. Right smack in the middle of where we should be. Dave's mom anticipates hearing where we are with the heartbeat, and uses that piece of information to predict the gender. No luck so far. Our baby is down right average...lol. I had feelings that we are having a boy, but all of the sudden, I have even stronger feelings that we are having a girl. Only time will tell. Hopefully, late April is when we will be able to know.
No ultrasound that visit. Next visit either :-(. Stay tuned!!
